A 15-year-old boy has been arrested over yesterday's stabbing at the Rose Hill roundabout.
Police said the boy was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder yesterday.
The 15-year-old victim of the stabbing is still in a stable but serious condition in hospital.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed today in its statement that the stabbing took place on the 151 bus at about 2.35pm in the Rosehill area.
Witnesses have described a 'group of males' involved in an argument with the victim before the stabbing.
One claimed he was stabbed as many as nine times in the back during the attack.
Sutton CID is asking anyone with information to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously.
